Municipal stormwater systems in Florida are regulated through the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program, which is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The municipal stormwater program reduce pollutants in runoff from storm drains, pipes, ditches, culverts, and canals operated by cities, counties, and public entities, protecting rivers, lakes, wetlands, and other state waters through required management practices.

 We help our clients:

  • Build and manage a SWMP (Stormwater Management Plan). A long-term, permanent document defining ongoing stormwater quality management

  • Ensure and active maintenance plan outlining effective processes to maintain, manage, and monitor stormwater pollution control measures.

  • Implement, inspect, and maintain additional Best Management Practices (BMPs) across all municipal operations and sites.

  • Monitor for illicit discharges

  • Ensure BMP performance, and train staff on prevention and response.

  • Support client public outreach and maintain all documentation needed for accurate annual reporting.
