Storm Inlets are often subject to debris, oil, and nutrients. Municipalities and property owners can have permanent inlet baskets installed to help maintain storm inlets.
An Inlet Basket is a device installed in storm drain inlets — it uses screens to capture debris. These devices prevent more than 300,000 pounds of debris from entering lakes every year. Cleaned monthly, Inlet Baskets are designed to allow water to bypass once the basket is full.
KCI can assist with the installing and maintaining various inlet baskets.

At KCI, we help ensure you remain in compliance when dealing with MS4s, through the NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permitting program.
KCI provides compliance services for annual MS4 reporting, data collection, maintenance, and education.
