Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by large numbers of individual particles that are generally invisible to the naked eye, similar to smoke in air. The measurement of turbidity is a key test of water quality.
Whether you need a pre-construction turbidity test or multiple turbidity tests during construction or dewatering, KCI can perform them for you.
We also are able to provide rental equipment to clients that prefer to do their own testing.

KCI can help ensure water quality through turbidity testing.
KCI installs and maintains Erosion Control for development, construction, and post-construction sites.
Various BMPs commonly used for Erosion Control and Stormwater Management include and are not limited to the following:
Silt Fence
Inlet Protection
Erosion Control Blanket
Street Sweeping
Hydro-Seeding, Sod, and Mulch
Wetland Mitigation Planting
Floating and Staked Turbidity Barriers
Additional BMPs are available upon request.
Let KCI help with your site erosion control planning and maintenance.
Dewatering is used on most construction sites due to accumulated water in trenches, excavation areas or in places with an inadequate slope or high-water table. This water should be removed to keep working as scheduled and to provide a safe workplace. It is important to follow best management practices when water is being pumped to lakes, wetlands or directly to storm sewer inlets.
KCI can assist with Dewatering permitting, turbidity monitoring, and water sampling as needed. Florida DEP allows contractors to include dewatering practices under the updated February 2015 NPDES Construction General Permit. KCI can ensure your dewatering plan is clearly stated in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
KCI can help keep your site dry with the right Dewatering plan.
