OJA and KCI

KCI made the College Park Community Paper for February!  KCI had the opportunity to present to Mrs. Braga’s 4th grade class at Orlando Junior Academy back in December.  The class has been studying erosion and tending to a garden that grows food for their Edible Kitchen.  The KCI team came in to discuss erosion, both natural and man-made.  We discussed the importance of protecting  inlets and roadways during construction.  The class learned about our jobs as environmental consultants and stormwater inspectors on construction sites.  The students were able to walk across to their garden and future site for the new Kitchen and view the silt fence we donated and installed for the Edible Education project.

Thank you Orlando Junior Academy and College Park Community for featuring us in your community!
